Description
For a quick yet secure connection, weld an aluminum ferrule on each end of your tubing. Then, install the o-rings on each ferrule. Slip on the inner sleeve over the o-rings then secure both ends of the tubing together with an Accufab Quick Disconnect Clamshell Clamp. All parts mentioned sold separately.
If you are using an Accufab MAX version throttle body, the leading edge already has a ferrule o-ring groove machined into the part. An additional weld ferrule is needed to attach the aluminum tubing to the inlet of the throttle body. Then, connect the throttle body & tubing together as described above.
- NOTE: Standard Ferrules sized 1.25″ to 4.5″ (not 5″) are available with a Sit Against Edge or Slip-In Edge for welding preference only. When ordering a ferrule sized 1.25″ to 4.5″ only (not 5″), please state a preference of one style over the other in the online ordering notes section. Please be aware, 5″ ferrules are designed a bit different and only available with a small recessed edge, not pictured. Also, all of the transitional ferrules are smooth edge only.
Sit Against Edge = tubing sits against the ferrule and then you weld. Slip-In Edge = tubing slips inside the ferrule and then you weld.
