Like the 4150 throttle body, the 4500 also works fine as a street/strip unit, and is particularly suited to the larger displacement engines.
If you would like to switch from a carburetor intake to electronic fuel injection (EFI), Accufab has developed a high flow throttle body to meet your needs.
Better Air Flow for More Power: The Accufab 4500 flows 2128 CFM and has four 2-1/4″ brass throttle plates.
This style uses late model GM electronics (TPS and IAC) which are included. Also, the 4500 series utilizes progressive linkage.
We offer an idle air control block off plate. It’s available polished or anodized black.

Very nice craftsmanship happy overall. Would prefer a 5/16-18 thread for air cleaner rather than the 1/4-20 most dominator carbs and HP carbs are 5/16. Very nice overall product

This throttle body is excellent quality and is so low profile it allowed me to fit a tall deck BBC with an SV632 intake under my 2.5" cowl hood with a little tweaking of the 16×4" air cleaner base. Excellent product thank you.
